Canine Trans-Cervical Insemination
Dr. Linda Meakin is performing trans-cervical insemination, giving breeders a safe and reliable way to breed their bitches without sedation or surgery.
What is trans-cervical insemination? Dr. Meakin uses a small endoscope to enter the cervix and inject the sperm directly into the uterus. If you are considering using frozen semen, this is the preferred way to inseminating. Sedation is rarely needed, most bitches tolerate the procedure very well.
