Dog Jog and Barktoberfest

This is a park-like setting in an area near large, pet-loving communities! Close to Hyde Park, Mt. Lookout, Mt. Washington, Oakley and Anderson Its easy to get to and centrally located, which saves you driving time gas!
Expected Attendance - 1,200 people over the two days.

Sunday: "Dog Jog"
- 8:30 a.m. - Pre-Registration for Runners and Walkers
- 9:30 a.m. - Blessing of the Animals
- 10:00 a.m. - 2-mile Run or Jog with your Dog or the 1-mile Fun walk with your Dog.
- 11:00 a.m. - Barktoberfest Activities Begin

(Activities start Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and Sunday at 11:30 a.m.)
- Doggie Games and Costumes
- FREE, that's right, FREE Vet Exams!
- Dog-Related Demonstrations
- Mini-Agility Course
- Pet Psychic
- Raffles and Prizes, Food and Drinks
- Microchipping ($25.00, includes registration fee)
- Nail Clipping ($5)
- Numerous rescue and shelter groups will be at this event with animals up for adoption

Costs to Participate
- For joggers/walkers to participate in the "Dog Jog" portion: $25.00 (includes a T-shirt, race number, bandanna, dog treats, scooper bag and free entrance to all other games and contests. $30.00 on race day. Awards and prizes given.
- For individuals to observe, see the exhibits and participate in the games: $5.00 donation per person (kids 10 years old and under FREE!)
- Help us help the animals by making this donation. All proceeds from this event go to help animal rescue groups throughout the tri-state area.

Dog Jog/Barktoberfest is an annual event, now in its 5th year; and it is TWO events in one!
A Dog Jog where participants can jog/walk with their dog and Barktoberfest, where participants can shop for gifts and supplies for their pets, look for a dog to adopt, and participate in games and contests.
