Sept. 1, 2000 to Nov. 17, 2017
Abby was a spry 17-year-old chihuahua mix, who left this world Nov. 17, 2017. To say she had a good life was an understatement. From the moment she came into my life, I made sure all her needs were met, as were her wants. Nothing was off limits for my Abby.
When I moved in with two my two best friends five years ago, I didn’t realize how quickly Abby would become a very loved member of their family as well. I didn’t think she would get along with cats since she had never been around any, but any notions of that quickly subsided. Abby became friends until the end with her “cat family,” too.
Abby loved her uncle Rick and Aunt Jackie and they were equally at a loss with her passing. Before she became ill, Abby liked going on car trips, yard sales, etc. She went to Tennessee a couple of times and loved every minute. She had her own stroller where she could see the world with no worries.
Abby passed away at home in my arms, which is how think she wanted it to be. A special thanks to the staff of All Creatures Animal Hospital for all their assistance and a very special thank you to her friend, Pickle the Cat, who stayed by her side until her passing.
