Our Advanced classes will give you the opportunity to master the commands from previous classes & achieve an impressive bond of respect, communication, & understanding. We will practice in-depth exercises to really put them to the test.

Imagine your dog heeling at your side, without you holding the leash, while walking through a crowd of other dogs, people, & distractions. Or, picture your dog staying in a sit position across the room from you, surrounded by tempting objects like hot dogs, toys, & socks, all while another person & their dog walk in circles around your dog. These are the kinds of exercises we practice in Advanced Obedience. We will also learn new, more advanced commands.

Sessions are 1 hour long, meeting once a week for 6 weeks. $150.

Private Sessions

Working one-on-one with our trainer will allow you to move at your own pace & focus more heavily on the commands & behavioral issues most important to you. Private classes are a great way to introduce your dog to training, especially if your dog is easily distracted. This gives your dog a chance to learn its commands without all the distractions of other people & dogs that are present in group classes. If your dog has issues with aggression & is too much of a risk to be in a group class, these issues can also be dealt with in our private, one-on-one sessions.

On-site (All Creatures Animal Hospital – Amelia) only. $75/hour.

In-Home Training

No matter what issues you’re dealing with, our trainer will come to your home for private, personalized, & convenient training sessions. These will be specifically geared toward the needs of your dog. In-home training will allow you to deal directly with the real-life distractions & scenarios you encounter on a regular basis.

Many dogs have behavioral issues with environmental components. Your dog might be an angel in a training class but turns into a demon the second a stranger comes to your door. Or, your dog may know some basic commands but is just so off-the-wall & crazy at home that its owners don’t even know where to begin. Training your dog in your home & around your neighborhood will help condition your dog to understand that your home is a place of structure & learning. It also allows the trainer to give you a direct analysis of your dog’s real-life behavior & daily routines. That way you can receive feedback, advice, & demonstrations for exactly how to deal with your specific issues. Even the most seemingly hopeless situations really can be turned around.

$100/hour.

Sessions are 1 hour long, meeting once a week for 8 weeks (Cost $150).
